Our February oven of the month is a real beauty and illustrates how our wood fired ovens can make a fantastic centerpieces in any garden space. Wayne Connolly’s Vento 100 is this months winner- we just adore his outdoor eating area and think his Vento makes it special and unique. The design of his stand is authentic and the mosaic worktop provides a stylish yet rustic finish. Here’s what Wayne had to say about his oven:
“The oven is fantastic, we chose a large oven as we have 6 children between us, and Sunday lunch and pizzas are a big affair- especially when we invite other families too.
We moved into a converted 16th century home last April in Cheshire, and I have always wanted a setting for an outside cooking space and wood fired oven, and chose The Stone Bake Oven Company due to its reviews and clearly superior built ovens.
The oven was easy to install (with some help) and getting started couldn’t be easier!
We cook everything in it from a Sunday roast, to pizzas, casseroles, bread and even a suckling pig – although the suckling pig was more like a “big brother” that just fitted.
We use the oven all year round, we had it insulated so we can have 10 hour slow cooked food, and it’s a treat.”
